The upward trend of output prices continued in August 2010 when a 0.2% rise was observed. The prices of export products were higher by 0.3% and the prices of manufactured goods sold on the domestic market by 0.1%. Among groups of activities showing the dynamics of prices by end-use of products, the prices of consumer goods increased by 0.3%, of intermediate goods by 0.2% and of energy by 0.1%. The price of capital goods remained the same as in July 2010.
In August 2010 the output prices increased the most in manufacture of coke and petroleum products (by 2.7%), in other manufacturing (by 1.4%), in manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (by 1.0%), in manufacture of beverages and in manufacture of rubber and plastic products (in each by 0.6%), in manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products (by 0.5%), in manufacture of textiles, in printing and reproduction of recorded media and in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and preparation (in all by 0.4%) and in manufacture of food products (by 0.3%).
The prices went down in manufacture of computer and optical products (by 1.3%), in electricity and in manufacture of basic metals (in each by 0.3%).
