Representatives of Chinese Development Bank (CDB) are studying the possibility of implementing concrete projects, shows announcement made by the Slovenian Government in the eve of the Slovenian and Chinese Economic Summit which will be held in Beijing in November. Potential investments targets are: telecommunication company T-2 and Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB).
The value of direct Slovenian investments in China stands at EUR 11.7 million, while the value of Chinese investments in Slovenia amounts to mere EUR 100,000. Some thirty companies are currently in operation in Slovenia, while 238 companies export goods on the Chinese market. Balance trade between Slovenia and China stood at EUR 410 million last year and thus posted a 20 percent drop in the previous year.
