IMF: Fall of economic activities in Montenegro by 1.8 percent

According to the prognosis of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Montenegro will record a fall of economic activities by 1.8 percent in 2010, while a growth of 4.5 percent is expected next year. In its newest prognosis, the IMF assessed that the inflation in Montenegro this year should amount to 0.6 percent and increase to 1 percent in 2011. It also assesses that the economic growth of Serbia will be 1.5 percent this year, which is among the highest growth rates in the region. Only Albania will have a higher growth – 2.6 percent.
