Greece's dominant electricity producer PPC (DEHr.AT: Quote) will spend about 2 billion euros ($2.79 billion) a year by 2015 and is in talks to build Greece's biggest solar park, its chief executive said on Thursday.
"Investments will probably be in the order of 2 billion euros a year through to 2015," Chief Executive Officer Arthouros Zervos told reporters. "We want to use at least 30-40 percent from our cash flow...we will borrow the rest." He said the company was in talks with an unidentified partner for a 200 megawatt park in western Greece.
