Montenegro government: Higher expectations from tourism

The Montenegrin Government expects that total incomes of the Montenegrin tourism next year will amount to around EUR 654m, 5 percent more than this year. The economic policy for next year, which the Government adopted recently, assesses that the number of overnight stays will increase by three percent. The Government stated that, starting from the fact that the continued trend of recovery of the global economy from the consequences of the global economic crisis would reflect positively on the development of tourism, it is realistic to expect favourable results of the tourist economy next year.
