Greece and Serbia, good business and big friendship

Greece and Serbia are old good friends and their business cooperation is getting better and better. Hellenic's plan worth 100 million euro relating to the road infrastructure and economy of Serbia have been started to be realised despite of the huge global economic crisis in Greece

More than 200 companies and banks from Greece are doing business here in Serbia. The cooperation of the two countries will be still improved and in this year the export of Serbia has been increased by 30 percent, has been stated at the Economic Forum 'Greek businesses in Serbia – strong bond of Greek – Serbian bilateral relations', being organized by the Greek Embassy to Serbia and Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

Greek Ambassador to Serbia Dimostenis Stoidis underscored that Serbia and Greece are friend like countries and good business partners. A lot of Greek banks are doing business in Serbia and are ranked the second after the Italian ones. The Greek companies invested in telecommunications, energy, sugar factories, food production. The Greek investments in Serbia amount to circa 1.5 billion euro.
