Albanian Product Price Index 3rd quarter 2010

In the third quarter 2010, Producer Price Index reached 109.8 percent (Year 2005 = 100), signing an increase by 0.9 percent compared with previous quarter. Annual change of this index is 0.4 percent.

Index in “Mining and quarrying” decreased by 2.4 percent. Here we can mention the decrease of index prices of products in “Mining and quarrying of energy producing materials” activity by 3.2 percent. Producer price index in “Manufacturing” sector is increased by 1.4 percent. Within this sector we can mention the increase of index price in “Manufacture of food” activity with 0.9 percent, “Manufacture of tanning and dressing of leather, etc” activity with 1.0 percent and “Manufacture of coke, refined petroleum products and nuclear fuel” activity with 0.4 percent. While the index of producer price in “Manufacture of textile” activity, “Manufacture of electrical and electronic products” activity, have signed a decrease respectively by 10.6 percent. 

Producer Price Index for domestic production reached 108.4 percent signing an increase price by 2.4 percent compared with previous quarter. Here we can mention the increase price of “Manufacturing” sector by 4.1 percent.

Export index price (year 2005 = 100) reached 115.0 percent signing a decrease price by 2.5 percent compared with previous quarter. Here we can mention the decrease of index price in “Manufacture” industry with 2.5 percent and “Mining and quarrying” industry with 4.5 percent.
