Albanian Consumer Price Index November 2010

The annual rate in November 2010 is 2.8 percent. A year before the annual rate was 3.0 percent.

The index of “Food and non-alcoholic beverage” signed an increase by 0.3 percent. Within this group the highest increase by 2.3 percent it was notice in the “sugar, chocolate, desert etc, where can be mentioned the increase price of sugar by 6.3 percent. Price in the “vegetables included potatoes” subgroup signed an increase by 2.1 percent. Here can be mentioned increase prices of pepper by 39.0 percent, eggplants by 25.0 percent, cucumber by 12.6 percent,  as well as decrease prices of green salad by 12.2 percent, spinach by 10.3 percent, cabbage by 6.3, green been by 15.1 percent, etc. Price in the “fruit” subgroup signed a decrease by 4.2 percent, where can be mentioned decrease price of lemons by 20.3 percent, mandarins by 18.8 percent, oranges by 17.9 percent, apples by 4.5 percent, etc. During the November prices are increase and in some other subgroups of this group, where can be mentioned increases in the subgroups “oil and fat” by 1.3 percent, “milk, cheese and eggs” by 0.5 percent, percent, “bread and cereals” by 0.4 percent etc.

The index of “Alcoholic drink and tobacco” group signed a decrease of 0.1 percent, within it prices of tobacco is decreased by 0.3 percent.

The index of “Clothing and footwear “group signed an increase by 0.1 percent, where can be mentioned increase price of women’s clothing by 0.6 percent and children’s footwear by 0.3 percent.

The index of “Rent, water, fuel and power” group signed an increase by 0.3 percent; within it the price of price of liquid gas is increase by 5.8 percent.

The index of “Transport” group has not be change compared with previous month, but within it price of fuel signet an increase by 0.1 percent.
