Three companies buy Serbia Telekom documents

A Serbian government minister said today that three companies have purchased the tender documentation for the sale of Telekom Srbija. Minister of Telecommunications and Information Society Jasna Matic spoke in Belgrade on Wednesday and specified that the companies were Telekom Austria, Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom.

Matic spoke to reporters during a Microsoft conference in the Serbian capital. She could not specify whether an agreement was reached with Greece's OTE to sell the 20 per cent stake it currently holds in Serbia's largest telecommunications company. Matic also expressed her "satisfaction with the response of public companies that are interested in purchasing shares of Telekom Srbija and thus become a strategic partner in the successful work of Serbia's company".
