Price reductions by 80 percent in Greece

There are drastic reductions of the prices of the products in stores around Greece, two months before the Christmas holidays, according to Greek media.

The price reductions reached 80 percent. The lower prices are dictated by the falling revenues of the traders. Their revenue dropped by more than 40% since the begging of the year.

They expect the recession to deepen in the coming months. The anti-crisis measures by the government in Athens, led to a strict austerity, drastically reduced the purchasing power of the consumers.
