ECB funding to Greek banks drops 2 pct m/m in Oct


ECB funding to Greek banks .FTATBNK dropped 2 percent at the end of October from the previous month, Greek central bank data showed on Thursday.

Lending to euro area credit institutions related to monetary policy operations, which reflects ECB lending to Greek banks, stood at 92.4 billion euros ($127.4 billion) compared to 94.3 billion at the end of September, the Bank of Greece (BOGr.AT) statement said.

Greek banks have lost wholesale market access in the wake of the country's debt crisis, becoming increasingly reliant on the ECB. ECB funding stood at 49.7 billion euros at the beginning of the year.
