Croatia´s Croz on Deloitte´s list of fastest growing Central European tech companies

Croz is the only remaining Croatian company on Deloitte’s "Fast 50" list this year. Last year’s line-up featured three companies from Croatia. The auditing firm’s annual award honours the fastest growing Central European technology companies, based on the percentage of revenue growth over a five-year period. Polish internet company Netmedia heads the list with 15,000 per cent growth in the last five years. Croz is up from 17th to seventh place with 1,329 per cent growth.
The greatest number of companies or 22 per cent come from Poland, a country that was the least impacted by the recession.

The majority of the firms on the list belong to a software development sector (58 per cent) or are providers of some form of internet service (34 per cent). On average, the companies from the list registered five-year growth of 967 per cent. The research of the attitudes of the company’s directors shows that 81 per cent of those surveyed is certain that their firms will continue to grow next year. Most expect that their companies will realize between 11 and 50 per cent growth, the daily Vecernji List writes.
