Inflow of foreign investments in seven months EUR 350.6m

According to preliminary data of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), the net inflow of direct foreign investments in the period from January to July 2010 amounted to EUR 350.6m and is 9.5 percent lower than in the same period in 2009.

Total inflow of direct foreign investments amounted to EUR 409.8m, which is 12.4 percent less than in the same period in 2009. The biggest inflow of direct foreign investments was realised on the basis of investments in domestic companies and banks – EUR 210m, which is 23.5 percent less than in the same period of 2009. Inflow of EUR 100.6m was recorded in the form of intercompany debts, which is an increase of 5 percent.
