Results of regular monthly researches of Monstat, the Statistical Office of Montenegro, show that the industrial production in Montenegro is recording growth according to all indicators. Compared to the same month last year, the growth amounts to 55.2 percent, and compared to the previous month to 27.9 percent. Compared to the average one-month production from the previous year, growth amounted to 12.2 percent. In the period from January to September, the production grew by 9.6 percent in regards to the same period last year. Two sectors recorded a growth compared to the same period last year – ore and stone mining by 36.2 percent and electricity, gas and water production by 48.1 percent.
