Hygeia group invests almost 50 million euros in private Albanian hospital

Premier Berisha inaugurated this week, the new Hygeia Hospital Tirana, by Albania Hygeia Group. Hygeia Hospital Tirana is a private investment which is among the largest in the field of health care in Albania, worth almost 50 million Euros. The hospital is equipped with the latest modern technology and aims to become a landmark for the region.   

Premier Berisha said that this investment will allow not only the Albanian citizens the most modern services and modern medical, but also citizens from neighboring countries.  "This hospital, - the premier said, -   rises at a time when our health system is deeply involved in reform and comprehensive and the main pillar of this reform is going to be Public - Private Partnership. " Premier Berisha stressed the government would take further steps to ease the burden on the health sector.
