FYR Macedonia Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski set into work Tuesday the reconstruction National Dispatching Center of MEPSO (Electricity Transmission System Operator of FYR Macedonia).
MEPSO has practically gotten a new Dispatching Center to monitor, control the power system of FYR Macedonia and one that meets all standards, set by the international power organizations, Gruevski said at the opening ceremony.
Now FYR Macedonia has a same dispatching center as all EU countries, outgoing MEPSO director Vladimir Zdravev said.
For the last few years, MEPSO has realized many projects, Zdravev said, singling out the new 400/110 kV sub-station in Stip as the largest investment in eastern FYR Macedonia's energy sector for the last 20 years.
