The Council of Ministers of BH has adopted an analysis of BH’s external trade in the first half of 2010, conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations.
The six-month external trade was worth total BAM 9.61 billion, and it increased by 12.79 per cent y/y. The value of exports reached BAM 3.38 billion (+32.23 per cent y/y). Trade deficit was BAM 2.85 billion, down on the same period of 2009 by 16.38 per cent.
By country groups, the EU still makes the most important trade partner for BH, accounting for almost 50 per cent of the total external trade. Members of the CEFTA 2006 have a share of 29.35 per cent. The export/import ratio was highest in trade with Austria (93.76 per cent).
